Goldstein Amperthand 1986 Oop No ReservePublished in 1986, this was the third in phil goldstein's acclaimed lisp series of publications (the others being thunday, thequal, doth, fifth, thavant and thabbatical). Here's a quick listing of the contentsthe mockingbird (one of the fabled birds of prey series of impossible card locations). Astrologame (a game of zodiac poker where evreybody wins). Nymble (a baffling display of mentalism with names). Universal speller (when the ordinary spelling routine just isn't cruel enough). Neogeo (long distance mindreading using an excruciatingly subtle new principle). Throw rug (the cards do their own revelation).
Inspectrum (a new and improved color test, onw three times faster). Numper (a 500 year old system applied to a classic word test). Dynamix (an extraordinary telepathic show).
According to the back cover (from which most of the descriptions above were culled), the emphasis is on material performed in the spectators' own hands, often while the performer's back is turned. The credits include references to prior works by fulves, gardner, stover, lyons, curry, searles, belcher, koynini, and numerous others. 8.5 x 11, 16 page saddle-stitched paper back. Average condition, with the major blemishes being some underlining of passages in lback ink and some highlighting of passages in yellow. The date of publication is noted in black in at the top of the front cover (see scan) and the price paid is noted neatly in blue ink in the corner fo page one.
